X24
Today was the release of X24's first animation film, Apparition. After watching it I've got to say, it is truly a first film. It lacks in camera work through the film, falling short towards the end and seeming like a rushed film, but I will still rate it in 5 catogories, including animation/acting, voice acting, visual, editing, sound, cinematography.
Animation is a 3, for a beginner it works but out in the animation world, it looks bad and sells the film.
Voice acting 4, this was a major thing of the film that brought its overall rating up, props to the voice actors.
Visuals is a 2.4, for roblox studio it looked more like the film was recorded in Bloxburg, it could've done better like how the cop was thrown back, and the shots of the books.
Editing is 3.1, again, it made the film feel rushed.
Sound is 4, this elevated the film in a way that stuck with a a part of me.
Cinematography is a 2, it felt like it was recorded in game and the animation software wasn't used to its full potential.
I rate Apparition overall rating, a 3.1.
But a second thing I'd like to talk about is a Rovision + exclusive named The Wrath. Still a bratBLOX film, the creator said. "I thought it's perfect because it's not only rated r and dark horror, it's a chance to try something new.". Without spoiling anything, the film is about a family who visits one of their deceased loved one’s house while burying them as well, finds something dark and the truth on what killed her. And they’re deaf by the way. More of Evil Dead and Undertone combined. July 10th is its planned release, and we'll be getting a teaser this week.
