It’s gonna be a series?

Earlier this week, the director of ‘The Daredevil’ announced that the movie will be turning into a 10 episode series, becoming an expansion of the story to be told with the space that it deserves.

The reason behind the change was because the creator felt that it would be too long to be contained in one singular film, heading towards a series format which allows it to have better character work, better pacing, and more space for world and story building.

A creative reasoning behind the expansion is because of how ‘Daredevil: Born Again Season 2’ ended off, where the episode count made a limited story, which what ‘The Daredevil’ aims to not follow, and fully deliver on characters, arcs, and scale. The cast was informed about this expansion and is fully on board with it, meaning ‘The Daredevil’ will be moving on as a series.
